Haven't really done much here for a long while, I am going to scan my sketchbook today and put it all up on here in scraps since they are just sketches and not colored, I quit stealing music and software from the web because of my beliefs, gotta walk it if your gonna talk it, I dumped all 70 Gigs of it off my HD so I had to find free alternatives cause I can't afford any of the high end stuff I was using, I just started using Blender3D and Gimp and Vue 6PLE and Google SketchUp which are on par with the top 3D animation software out there, I plan on taking my characters and the world they live in into 3D. My characters and their world are cartoony, I don't want to be restrained to a photo realistic or anatomically correct look, way too much detail work in that for me, also the characters and world are in what I would call a SciFantasy setting so as to not restrain my Ideas, It has swords and gunplay, magic and technology, dinosaurs, spaceships and everything in between. I had planned on doing this some 2 yrs ago, life waylays the best laid plans, but sometimes in the best of ways, I have a son now, Cullen, who will be one year old on Dec. 17, He and my wife tend to get most of my time, which I gladly give! Cullen and my wife Angela (married 10 yrs now!) are the joy of my world.

I HAVE JUST BOUGHT MY DREAM NOTEBOOK PC!!!WAHOO! and it's coming in the mail soon (Build it faster people!). I'm probably going to wait till then to color my pics, but i probably won't be adding anymore hand drawn pics as I am going to be switching to 3D now that I will have a system that can handle it. Here is what I bought:
I am also going to be using Zbrush 2.0 to paint my 3D models and building them in XSI/Softimage 5.1
I am not actually in it for the animation but for the stills for making my own manga and projects because rendering times for animation just take WAY too long and I know it would not be good to leave it on for tens of hours at a time.
You know you can download Xsi/Softimage 4.2 for free from avid themselves.
I also think i might make some awesome visuals for using in RPG Maker XP or zeldaclassic with Vue. I am so surprised someone isn't using 3D progs to make stunning visuals for thier RPG's they make in RPG Maker XP.
